Steven Amenta, Esq.
Steven Amenta is the founder of Amenta Law Firm, an estate planning and elder law practice dedicated to helping Maryland families protect the people they love and the assets they have worked a lifetime to build. He believes estate planning is about much more than drafting legal documents—it is about giving families clarity, protecting their future, and creating peace of mind during life’s most difficult moments.
A lifelong resident of Baltimore County, Steven was born and raised in the community he proudly serves. He is a graduate of Perry Hall High School and has spent years giving back to local families through coaching youth athletics. Steven previously coached girls’ softball and now serves as the Head Wrestling Coach at Perry Hall High School, where he enjoys mentoring young athletes and teaching the values of discipline, responsibility, hard work, and perseverance.
Steven works closely with individuals, couples, seniors, and families to create personalized estate plans that reflect their unique goals, family dynamics, and financial circumstances. His practice focuses on estate planning, elder law, disability planning, special needs planning, long-term care and Medicaid planning, wills, revocable living trusts, powers of attorney, advance directives, deeds, trusts, and estate administration.
Known for explaining complex legal issues in plain English, Steven takes the time to educate his clients so they can make informed decisions with confidence. Whether helping a young family prepare for the unexpected, assisting retirees with long-term care planning, or guiding loved ones through estate administration, his mission is always the same—to provide trusted legal guidance and help families stay in control of their future.
Steven believes the greatest gift a person can leave their family is not simply an inheritance, but a thoughtful plan that provides clarity, protection, and peace of mind for generations to come.
